FIRE NAME: Two Top Fire DATE OF DETECTION: Friday August 30 2013 CAUSE: Lightning CURRENT SIZE: 148 acres (11 acre increase due to more accurate mapping) CONTAINMENT: 80 % LOCATION: The fire is located on the Continental Divide northwest of Reas Pass. It is approximately 8 air miles from the town of West Yellowstone. AGENCY: Gallatin National Forest and Caribou-Targhee National Forest PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES ON THE FIRE: 1 medium helicopter and 1 light helicopter; 143 firefighters and support personnel These fires do not pose a threat to area residents or visitors. US-20 US-191 and US-287 are all open as are all businesses in the communities of West Yellowstone Montana and Island Park Idaho. The West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is open.
